Linton in Bloom

Linton in Bloom is a voluntary group that make West Linton look flowery and brighter by planting up the village tubs in Spring and Summer.

The plants for the summer tubs are all grown locally and the spring tubs are made up of tulips and daffodils.

We meet about twice a year to sort out planting and then twice a year to empty and replant the tubs, so not very time consuming and even less so with more people. We are always looking for new volunteers to help, if you are interested do contact us.

The tubs are sponsored by local groups in the village and are labelled accordingly; we do have a few tubs without labels so if anyone is interested in sponsoring a tub do contact us.
On Saturday a small group of Linton in Bloom helpers emptied the tubs and re planted them with Spring bulbs

Horticultural Society

The Society organises a number of activities in the course of the year. During the summer, garden visits are organised and you are cordially invited to join us – look out for posters around the village.

The current programme of winter talks will be available at the next meeting, usually the 3rd Wednesday of the month, when it will be possible to join the Society.
